Anybody who is
going to study this famous picture by Caravaggio,
could easily realize the developing relationschip between a
subject
acting as a
son
(and acting constructively so that he may get a help to his reason) on
one side and a subject acting as a father
who is collaborating: "that's right, do as you think best
…".
"It's all
right for me, so as you had thought about it": this message is
voicing man's confidence (a man who is representing the whole Universe)
in another man's thought
(here represented by Thomas).
He is wealthy
and healty only that man who has good opinion of thought, that is a man
expecting himself and the others to draw sound
conclusions
from their ways of thinking, as it happens among business
partners.
